How to prepare for a design consultation so you get more from the meeting
A little preparation makes a consultation more focused, more efficient, and more useful from the start.
Gather the basics
Room photos, rough measurements, floor plans if you have them, and a short description of what is not working are enough to create a strong starting point. The goal is clarity, not perfection.
Know your priorities
It helps to think about whether the main issue is function, style, storage, layout, renovation planning, or all of the above. Even a simple list of priorities can make the conversation much more productive.
